Jim and Betty Dye Scholarships are awarded from five hundred dollars ($500) to three thousand five hundred dollars ($3,500) toward tuition per semester for a maximum of eight (8) consecutive undergraduate fall and spring semesters.
The amount of the Jim and Betty Dye Scholarship will be determined prior to the start of the freshman fall semester. Receipt of merit-based university scholarships, awards, or grants is considered primary and will be applied toward tuition first and the Jim and Betty Dye Scholarship applied secondary. The amount of the Jim and Betty Dye Scholarship will be $3,500 deducted by the amount of other scholarships/awards/grants received (excluding Pell Grants and one-time awards totaling $1,000 or less), but no less than $500 per semester toward tuition.
Non-tuition student fees such as room and board, books, transportation, parking, health and activity fees are the responsibility of the student.
